When you need convenient medical care for an illness or injury that is not life-threatening, or if you need a flu shot or a school sports physical, MedStar Health Urgent Care is here for you. Walk-in visits are always welcome, but an online check-in is recommended.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Our team of providers diagnose and treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages. We have laboratory testing available on-site for common illnesses (strep, mono, influenza, urinary infection, COVID-19, sexually transmitted diseases, and pregnancy). If needed, a telehealth specialist from Orthopedics, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Spine, Pediatrics, Emergency Department may be included during your exam. We offer testing with immediate results while you wait for strep throat, flu, COVID-19 (including asymptomatic), and RSV — eliminating the need to wait days for a culture. If your provider determines your condition needs more advanced testing, we may provide a referral to an outside lab or a nearby hospital’s emergency department.
