About me
Jason Wexler, MD, is an attending endocrinologist serving in the thyroid/metabolic bone unit at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Lafayette offices. Dr. Wexler is also a clinical assistant professor of Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center.Dr. Wexler received his undergraduate degree in Nutritional Biochemistry from Cornell University. His medical degree was received Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Brooklyn, where he was tapped for Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center and his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Wexler is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is certified by the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Dr. Wexler is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Thyroid Association, the Endocrine Society and the American College of Physicians. He has published several journal articles, abstracts and book chapters.
