Everyone in the MedStar community who wishes to learn more about the exciting research taking place across our system is invited to attend the MedStar Health—Georgetown University research symposium and the colloquium for Educators in the Health Professions.
Registration is free to all attendees. In 2019, we were pleased to welcome more nearly 1,000 members of the MedStar Health-Georgetown University community and hope you can join us in the coming year. While pre-registration is requested, onsite registration is available.
Registration includes access to the grand ballroom to view the over 400 accepted abstract presentations and case reports, main stage speakers and networking with other MedStar Health and Georgetown University associates from across the system.
All attendees are welcome to connect with our exhibitors and watch top scoring residents and fellows present their research in oral presentations. Exhibitors include CENTILE, MedStar Health Institute for Quality and Safety, along with departments from MedStar Health Research Institute. There is also an interactive research collaboration display from the MedStar Institute for Innovation.
As part of registration, attendees have the option to register for a Pre-Symposium Professional Development and Advancement Session. These sessions are led by experts from MedStar Health and topics range from biostatistics and biomedical informatics to an IRB review and helping secure funding for your research.
