Kerry Strom is a certified dietician educator at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in dietetics. She completed her dietetic internship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Upon graduation from her internship, she accepted a job as clinical dietitian in Henderson, NV, and earned her Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian (CNSD) credential. Kerry then accepted a position as clinical nutrition manager in southern California and remained there until 2005 when she started working at Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center. She currently focuses on working with individuals pursuing bariatric surgery, but also enjoys educating individuals regarding non-surgical weight loss, diabetes, hypertension, and other nutrition-related conditions.
