Dr. Shweta Kurian, MD
Dr. Shweta Kurian is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Colon and other gastrointestinal cancers, breast cancer, and lung cancer are among her clinical interests. She obtained her medical degree from the Government Medical College, Trivandrum, Kerala University, in India, followed by a residency at George Washington University/Providence Hospital in Washington D.C., where she also served as chief resident. She completed a fellowship in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami in Miami, Florida.
