Chinese Delegation From Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Visited MedStar National Rehabilitation Network
WASHINGTON, D.C., – Feb. 25, 2015 – The Chinese Delegation from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine recently visited MedStar National Rehabilitation Network. The Delegation was composed of a group consisting of physicians, deans and professors from the university.
Henan Province is one of the pioneers in revolutionary medical education and service. The Province, in correspondence to a proposal by the central government, is trying to provide advanced medical education to students, and trying to provide quality medical care to the mass population, especially rural areas. For this trip, the Chinese Delegation was focused on the administration and management models and methods in the United States specific to the Spinal Cord Injury and Stroke Rehabilitation populations.
According to Linran Yu, a specialist from the U.S.-China Business Training Center, the Delegation enjoyed the visit to the hospital very much and were very grateful. MedStar NRH Team Members were able to provide online links and some literature for them to take back to China (i.e., MedStar NRH Pre-Admission Brochures and Program Snapshots).
