BALTIMORE—(March 23, 2016) — Leigh Ann Curl, MD, MedStar Sports Medicine surgeon at MedStar Harbor Hospital, was recently named a 2015 Vitals Patients’ Choice Award winner, joining only 5 percent of physicians nationwide to be honored with this top ranking.
Vitals, a resource for patients to find doctors and medical facilities, owns the largest collection of online doctor reviews. Now in its 8th year, the Vitals Patients’ Choice Award acknowledges top-performing doctors based on reviews and ratings collected over the past calendar year.
Patients write about their experience and rate their physician on several factors, including bedside manner, doctor-patient face time and how well their physician follows up with them after treatment. Patients also provide an overall rating for their doctor. Vitals analyzes these ratings, along with other quality measures, to identify the top physicians in the U.S.
