Meet Kimberly Wilson, Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer Survivor

 In April 2022, Kimberly Wilson was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. She turned to the expert oncology team at MedStar Health, undergoing multiple surgeries as well as chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy in her fight to live. While her journey has not been an easy one, today, Kimberly’s scans show no evidence of disease, and she sees herself as a thriver—focusing on family time, travel, and the things that matter most in life.
