Women’s Care in the Weinberg Building at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center offers a full range of obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages. Our patients come from Eastern Baltimore County, East Baltimore City, Harford County, and the surrounding areas. We are staffed with attending and resident obstetrician/gynecologists, sub-specialists in Maternal Fetal Medicine, certified nurse midwives, certified women’s health nurse practitioners, registered ultrasound technologists, genetic counselors, social workers, and registered nurses specializing in women’s health in order to provide high-quality, skilled, and compassionate care to our patients.

Through our practice, we deliver over 700 babies a year, which comprise about 25% of all the babies born at MedStar Franklin Square. We specialize in high-risk pregnancy care for mothers and babies with increased risk, medical problems, and other complications. We offer our patients the latest technology and treatment options in women’s health. We encourage our patients to see us for their regularly scheduled well women appointments as well as acute care, contraception, management of Pap smear abnormalities, screening for sexually transmitted disease, medical and surgical management of abnormal bleeding including minimally invasive options, urogynecology, and mid-life and menopausal symptom management. In addition, we offer referral to nearby specialists for mammographic and osteoporosis screening, infertility evaluation and treatment, care of patients with gynecologic cancers, and pelvic organ prolapse.
