Pediatrics
Our pediatricians are here to guide you as your young ones grow—physically, emotionally, and socially, from newborns and infants to children and adolescents.
Caring for kids from infancy through adolescence
MedStar Health pediatricians understand that every child is unique, and along with that, so are their healthcare needs. From annual well visits and physicals to appointments scheduled for illnesses and injuries, we create a plan for that is customized for your child, accounting for their physical development, mental and emotional needs, and social and environmental factors that can impact their health.
Our pediatricians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners become your partner and advocate in personalized health care for your child by keeping you at the center of decision-making and encouraging you to participate in care whenever possible. We believe in treating each child holistically, and will implement a coordinated, personalized plan of care in collaboration with you.
Our pediatric care is not only comprehensive—it is also convenient. With practice locations throughout Maryland and the Washington, D.C., region, you’re never far from outstanding pediatric care.

Our geriatric clinicians offer care that honors the dignity and well-being of the elderly, whether through promoting health and preventing disease or managing chronic conditions. They provide comprehensive, collaborative care from a staff extensively trained to meet the unique needs of elderly patients. Aging presents its own set of challenges, and our physicians and nurses focused on geriatric care are committed to working with patients, family members, and caregivers to ensure the best possible quality of life and health.
Primary care telehealth
Your health is our priority. Through MedStar Health, you have access to easy-to-use telehealth care options to meet your needs, including the following:
-
Our primary care telehealth team gives you access to a MedStar Health physician or nurse practitioner affiliated with our practice with scheduled online appointments. They will communicate the plan of care with your primary care provider in your electronic medical record. Contact your primary care office or provider to see if a primary care telehealth visit is right for you.
-
MedStar eVisit gives you access to experienced MedStar Health providers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No appointment needed. Visit MedStarHealth.org/eVisit.
An important part of a successful telehealth visit is a strong connection and/or a strong signal. If the system detects a weak signal, it may prompt you to switch to an alternate connection to conduct a visit successfully. This may mean switching to a Wi-Fi connection if your cell service is not strong.
