Maral Malekzadeh, DO, MS was born in California and mostly raised in the Midwest. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from John Carroll University and her Master of Science in Anatomy from Case Western University, both in Cleveland, Ohio. She then obtained her Medical Degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City, New York. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michigan State University-Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She then went on to do further surgical training and completed an American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida.
As a subspecialist in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, she strives to provide exceptional and personalized care to women with complex gynecologic conditions such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and abnormal uterine bleeding. Using minimally invasive techniques, she can offer same-day surgery for many of her patients.
