Understanding Your Newborn eClass on Demand with MedStar Southern Maryland

MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center Prenatal eClasses provide learners convenient access to lessons and resources whenever and wherever you are – on a computer or mobile device, in the safety and comfort of your own home – whenever it is convenient for you! The eClasses are available for 9 months after the date they are opened, which provides an opportunity to review breastfeeding and newborn information whenever needed, even after delivery. Each eClass includes engaging videos, 3D animations, learning activities, fun quizzes, helpful web links, downloadable PDFs, and a Parent’s Toolbox loaded with interactive tools. An audio library with soothing sounds and lullabies is also included. And if at any point you have any questions, the “Ask an Educator” feature allows you to contact a patient educator at the MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Women and Newborns Center.
