About me
Erika Williams, MD, is a member of the MedStar National Rehabilitation Network's medical team, and is a sports medicine specialist at MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network in McLean, VA.
Dr. Williams is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Primary Care Sports Medicine. She specializes in sports medicine, concussion management, regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal conditions and ultrasound. She serves as team physician for the Washington Spirit, DC’s professional women’s soccer team.
Dr. Williams is an attending physician at Medstar Southern Maryland Emergency Department and is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Dr. Williams completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University (2013). She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (2017) and her fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Medstar Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University Hospital (2018). She is passionate about providing sports medicine care to athletes of all ages.
