Dr. Shah's clinical practice focuses on the conservative treatment of acute sports medicine injuries and spine disorders. She is skilled in fluoroscopically-guided spine injections and ultrasound-guided peripheral joint and soft tissue injections. Her goal is to work with patients to optimize function, return to their active lifestyle and help prevent future injury. 

Dr. Shah earned her bachelor of science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology at University of Maryland College Park and her medical degree from Howard University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at National Rehabilitation Hospital/Georgetown University Hospital, and went on to do a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Interventional Spine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital/Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
