About me
Julia M. Cunningham, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine in MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Division of Hematology and Oncology who specializes in non-malignant hematology. She treats a broad range of diagnoses including platelet and bleeding disorders, red blood cell disorders, disorders of the white blood cell and blood proteins and hypercoagulable states. She emphasizes individualized diagnostic and treatment planning for all her patients. Dr. Cunningham is engaged in clinical research in the areas of non-malignant hematology and complement-mediated disease. Dr. Cunningham is part of a multidisciplinary team of skilled specialists that include cancer surgeons and radiation oncologists with expertise in the most advanced cancer treatment options available.
