About me
Maria V. Bautista, MD, is head of the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. She is an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Bautista joined Medstar Georgetown University Hospital Department of Pediatrics in 2004 and established the Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Bautista is skilled in all areas of pediatric pulmonology, including bronchoscopy and sleep disorders in children. She has special interest and expertise in early childhood asthma, chronic lung disease of prematurity, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, aerodigestive disorders and sleep apnea.
Dr. Bautista is board certified in pediatric pulmonology, general pediatrics, and sleep medicine. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Thoracic Society and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
