About me
Molly Lloyd, RN, MSN, AG-ACNP-BC, is a board-certified adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy Program at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. She works with the program’s physicians to care for outpatient, post-allogeneic transplant patients from the day they are discharged onward, developing their plans of care, performing exams and bone marrow biopsies, managing medications, and referring patients to support services within MedStar Georgetown and the wider community.
Molly earned her BSN from the University of Virginia and her MSN from University of Pennsylvania. She has spent over a decade caring for patients in various stem cell transplant programs around the country.
Throughout the transplant process, she provides compassionate care and ongoing education to each patient about their condition and treatment so they can be active partners in their care.
When she’s not working, Molly enjoys travelling. She and her family attend the summer Olympic games as often as possible.
