About me
Dr. Hazen specializes in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery, with particular focus on management of uterine fibroids, and pelvic pain/endometriosis. He is a fellow of both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the AAGL.
Dr. Hazen is also an active researcher engaged in studies on hysteroscopy, novel treatments for fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, IV iron for iron deficiency anemia, and robotic surgery.
He is an assistant professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at MedStar Georgetown and serves as director of Research and Education for the MedStar Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery Fellowship and director of Education and Simulation for National Center for Advanced Pelvic Surgery.
