About me
Stephanie Detterline, MD, FACP, serves as Vice President of Medical Affairs at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center and is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She also serves as the Associate Dean for Medical Education in Baltimore, overseeing the educational experiences of our Georgetown students as they rotate in our Baltimore hospitals. Finally, Dr. Detterline is heavily involved in graduate medical education and is the Associate DIO providing oversight for the MedStar Baltimore residency and fellowship programs. Dr. Detterline is Board certified in Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed internship and residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Detterline has a particular interest in effective patient-physician communication, career mentorship of physicians in internal medicine, and promoting equity and reducing bias in healthcare.
