About me
Sunjeet Sidhu, MD is a cardiac electrophysiologist practicing at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. Dr. Sidhu is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Sidhu specializes in treating patients with a wide spectrum of heart rhythm disorders including supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), atrial fibrillation (AFib), ventricular tachycardia (VT), bradycardia, and heart block. In addition, he also specializes in left atrial appendage occlusion with WATCHMAN and lead extraction. He has a particular interest in ablation for complex ventricular and atrial arrhythmias as well as lead extraction.
Dr. Sidhu has an interest in improving arrhythmia management. He has done research regarding ventricular arrhythmias and the interplay of the sympathetic nervous system with the heart. Dr. Sidhu will continue his research efforts with clinical trials for novel therapeutics for arrhythmias. He is interested in bringing the leading edge of medical technology to the art of patient care.
