Carroll Foley

Carroll Foley is a Palliative Care Social Worker at Medstar Washington Hospital, licensed in the District of Columbia.  She received her master’s degree in social work at New York University’s Silver School of Social Work and is a Fellow with the Zelda Foster Studies Program in Palliative and End of Life Care.  Carroll’s particular interests lie at the intersection of trauma and the treatment of life limiting illness.  Prior to becoming a social worker, Carroll was a corporate financial executive in the insurance industry and leverages her background in mathematics and statistics as an active contributor to the palliative care team’s research efforts.
