Why Georgetown? The faculty and fellows seem happy and passionate about patient care. Not only is the critical care experience robust, but the pulmonary education is high quality. Fellows get a large amount of procedural experience. DC is also such a lovely city.
Favorite thing about DC: It is the nicest city I've lived in so far in terms of cleanliness, safety, public transit, beauty, and walk/bikeability!
