Dr. Nahar Saleh
Dr. Nahar Saleh was born and raised in Latakia, Syria, where she went to medical school at Tishreen University before moving to Baltimore to complete her internal medicine residency at MHIM. She then joined the MHIM family as a chief resident and is currently a faculty member. In addition, Dr. Saleh holds an Assistant Clinical Professor's faculty appointment at Georgetown University.
Among her many interests, hospital medicine, rheumatology, and POCUS are where she devotes a lot of her time. In addition, she is passionate about teaching bedside medicine and being involved with academic activities with residents and students.
Outside work, she enjoys cooking for family and friends, gardening, and reading poetry.
