Born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. She attended Universidad CES, (in Medellín, Colombia) for medical school. After medical school, she spent some time working in a Pediatric Emergency Department at a large public hospital back home before finally embarking in her journey to train in the U.S. Moved to DC before residency to work in Airway Immunology research and fell in love with the city. When not at the hospital, she enjoys cooking, hanging out with her friends, trying new restaurants, doing yoga or enjoying a good book. After residency she is interested in training in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or working in Primary Care Pediatrics.
