Why NRH? I was fortunate enough to rotate at NRH as a fourth-year medical student, and I quickly recognized how comprehensive the training was. With incredibly supportive faculty, rotations at Walter Reed and NIH, and unique tracks, I knew this program would offer innumerable opportunities to explore and be well-trained in every avenue of physiatry. Plus, as a DMV native, I was thrilled at the prospect of training close to home in this amazing city. But ultimately, what stood out to me most was the culture at NRH, best seen through the closeness and generosity of the residents, faculty, and staff. Throughout my rotation and during interview season, it was clear everyone at NRH treated one another like family. From day one, I felt this program was an excellent fit and one I would love to be part of.
