Why NRH? NRH-Georgetown really had it all when it came to deciding on a residency: strong exposure to the different PM&R specialties, tracks to customize your education, a continuity clinic to follow outpatient patients long-term, and a supportive program with residents that seemed truly happy. Coming from the D.C. area, I knew I would have a great support system outside of the hospital, but it also seemed clear that I would have really great support within the program. Finally I was really excited by the opportunities to work within medical education and health advocacy, and I knew being at Georgetown and in the heart of D.C. would really allow me to do that.
