Why NRH-Georgetown? My interview at NRH was one of my favorite interviews. It was clear that the NRH community is full of passionate people who love PM&R and their patients. This passion was contagious, and I was really excited by all the opportunities that are offered including the multiple tracks, the affiliations with Walter Reed and NIH and the continuity clinic. It was very evident, during my interview, that the program builds well-rounded, compassionate physiatrists and that the faculty and residents continuously support and learn from each other. The faculty seem very receptive to resident feedback and it is clear that resident wellness is a large priority for them. This program fosters a feeling of community, family and belonging without compromising on a well-rounded education. I also love DC and am happy to be moving close to my extended family!
