Why NRH-Georgetown? I chose MedStar Georgetown- NRH for residency because of is excellent reputation, proximity to family, and well-rounded PM&R training. In particular, the longitudinal ultrasounds track, continuity clinic, research connections with the NIH, and opportunities to work with national leaders in PM&R made NRH stand out to me. By far, the most important reason I chose Georgetown- NRH was the people. Throughout the interview process, the kindness and enthusiasm of everyone I encountered was unparalleled. There is a continuous exchange of support and learning between the faculty and residents. The program director is extremely approachable and supportive and truly cares about the residents- not every program has a Dr. Wisotzky! Finally, I love being close to family and friends and exploring all that DC has to offer!
