Abdul Rashid, PhD
Dr. Abdul Rashid is a medical physicist with 24 years of experience in radiation therapy. Specializing in Radiosurgery and has contributed to improving patient outcomes through advanced radiation therapy techniques and radiation safety protocols.
Dr. Rashid holds a Ph.D. in the field of Magneto Optics using Synchrotron radiation from University of Bonn/Quaid-i-Azam University. Postdoctoral fellowship from Imperial College London in Laser Spectroscopy. Later joined the Johns Hopkins Hospital/ University Radiation Oncology for PostDoc fellowship/ Residency in Medical Physics and has worked with leading healthcare institutions to implement cutting-edge technologies in the treatment of cancers and other conditions. His research interest includes, normal tissue tolerance om stereotactic radiation therapy, biomodelling, Stereotactic Heart Ablation Radiosurgery (STAR).
