Michael Hofmann

Michael Hofmann has served as the program coordinator of the Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Program at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital since September 2010, and has held the same role at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center since April 2013. Additionally, he serves as the program director for Patient Blood Management for MedStar Health system, a not-for profit healthcare system operating ten hospitals in the Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area.

Mr. Hofmann has close ties to the Witness community and has worked with patients seeking non-blood medical management for more than 20 years. He educates physicians and healthcare professionals about bloodless surgery and its many benefits.
