Hiwot Guebre-Xabiher
Hiwot Guebre -Xabiher is the associate director of oncology research for MedStar Health Research Institute. In this role, she oversees the oncology research clinical trials portfolio at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Hiwot has over 14 years of experience in clinical oncology, leading the development and implementation of strategies to build and grow clinical trial programs.
Before joining MedStar, she served as an oncology clinical research administrator at George Washington University Medical Faculty and Associates. Hiwot received a Bachelor's in Biology from George Mason University and obtained certification in clinical research.
