Bat-Zion “Betsy” Hose, PhD

Bat-Zion “Betsy” Hose, PhD is a research fellow at the MedStar Health National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare. Her research examines the complexity of team-based care processes for vulnerable populations using human factors and systems engineering principles. Additionally, she works on designing, evaluating, and implementing solutions to support health care teams providing high-quality, safe patient care. Dr. Hose received her PhD from the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Walking with family and friends is Bat-Zion's favorite pastime.
