Professional summary
Patrick brings over 10 years of performance improvement experience to the MedStar PI&A team. He most recently spent 5 years with University of Maryland Medical Center’s PI Department, where he led efforts to improve efficiency in the Perioperative Department.
Prior to his work in the healthcare industry, Patrick was a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a small automotive supplier. He routinely leveraged his Lean Six Sigma background to reduce scrap and eliminate waste throughout the organization.
Patrick earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park (go Terps!). He is passionate about teaching and mentoring others and enjoys being a driving factor in moving healthcare into a more highly reliable and data-driven direction.

Empowering and mentoring others. I love helping people see the world in a new way and learn innovative approaches to solve problems.
