Willie has over 14 years of industrial engineering, process improvement, change management, decision support, and operational leadership experience. After earning his Industrial Engineering degree from Morgan State University in 2008, he was accepted into the Management Trainee Rotational Program at United Parcel Service(UPS). Through this program he learned a plethora of principles within lean six sigma and business process reengineering. Upon completion, Willie was able to apply those skills within his role as Operations Manager in the District of Columbia. Willie continued to improve his professional skills when he joined MedStar Washington Hospital as a Process Improvement Specialist. Willie has lead projects in multiple areas of the hospital, including: Emergency Department, Operating Room, Anatomic Pathology Lab, Med/Surg Units, Intensive Care Unit, and Supply Chain.
