MedStar Health Simulation Training & Education Lab (SiTEL)

As part of our mission to expand access to key educational tools, resources, and products, MedStar Health SiTEL provides hands-on learning opportunities, interactive online training, virtual high-fidelity simulation, and continuing professional education. The team creates hundreds of learning modules annually that are used across our health system and beyond. Fully accredited, MedStar Health SiTEL partners with professionals in all disciplines across the MedStar Health system to assess and meet their educational needs. As a key operation housed within the MedStar Institute for Innovation, our team is committed to advancing innovation in education.

We work closely with academic collaborators—including the MedStar Health Research Institute, the National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare, the Georgetown University School of Medicine and School of Nursing and Health Studies, and the MedStar Health Office of Graduate Medical Education—and partner with distinguished colleagues and industry leaders through our advisory committee to promote learning and provide safer environments for MedStar Health patients.
