Welcome to the Infusion Center at MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar Health Bel Air Medical Campus
At MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar Health Bel Air Medical Campus, our Infusion Center provides IV therapy of all types in a convenient, comfortable, and calming environment overlooking our beautiful Zen Garden, where deer and other wildlife can often be seen.
With 11 chairs, our dedicated oncology-certified nurses play a proactive role in helping our patients avoid complications and discomfort from their symptoms in our non-hospital-based setting.
We have an on-site pharmacy, ensuring shorter wait times for medications, and have a variety of other providers located on our campus, including radiation oncology, primary care, women’s care, imaging services and lab services. So, we can accommodate patients who have appointments with other doctors.
In addition, we offer a wide range of amenities to ensure that patients receive the highest level of comfort and care during treatment. Our center is easy to access and offers ample free parking.

Infusion center services include the following:
- Injections
- IV therapy of all types with prior approval, including but not limited to:
- Antibiotic therapy
- Biotherapy
- Chemotherapy
- Crohn’s disease
- Hydration for POTS
- Immunotherapy
- Iron infusion
- Lab draws from central lines and implanted ports
- Multiple sclerosis
- Neurological disorders
- Osteoporosis
- Port access and port flushes
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Therapeutic phlebotomy for hemochromatosis and polycythemia vera
- Ulcerative colitis
