MedStar Health Physical Therapy is expanding to Frederick. Our new location combines compassionate care with state-of-the-art equipment and technology for treating orthopedic and sports related injuries and conditions.   • Tom Sutton, PhD, DPT, Regional Director

    Tom graduated from the University of Southern California with a clinical doctorate in biomechanics and physical therapy. Tom is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Tom enjoys treating overhead athletes, runners, golfers, sports medicine, and performance enhancement restoration. He specializes in the following:

    • Orthopedic injuries and conditions
    • Sports injuries
    • Vestibular, including fine motor coordination
  • David A. Hayes, PT, DPT

    David received his bachelor's degree in biological sciences from UMBC in 2007. David graduated from Marymount University in 2012 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. David enjoys weight training and functional performance activities for general health, wellness, and injury prevention.

    David's specialties include:

    • Various orthopedic impairments and conditions
    • Post operative joint replacement management
    • ACL injury prevention/reconstruction management/return to play
    • Spine pathologies

  • Bradley Nguyen, PTA, BRM

    Bradley Nguyen received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Brad completed his degree to become a physical therapist assistant from Montgomery College in 2020. Brad specializes in orthopedic injuries, return-to sport, joint replacements, vestibular rehab, volleyball rehab, Olympic and power lifters, BFR, and is certified in the Barbell Rehab Method.

    Brad’s rehabilitation specialties include:
