MedStar Health Home Care Recognized As HomeCare Elite® ‘Top Agency’

WASHINGTON – MedStar Health Home Care is one of the top performing home health agencies in the U.S. according to the 2019 HomeCare Elite Top Agency list. The Top Agency award signifies MedStar Health Home Care’s District of Columbia agency  as among the top 25% of Medicare-certified home healthcare providers across the nation when it comes to quality of care, quality improvement and consistency, patient experience (HHCAHPS), best practices implementation and financial performance. MedStar Health Home Care is one of 8,818 agencies that were evaluated, and one of just 2,207 winners.

Top Agency rankings are developed by ABILITY® Network—an information technology company, and is sponsored by DecisionHealth (part of the H3.Group). The organization also provides Top 100 and Top 500 agency awards annually. For an agency to be considered, it must be Medicare-certified and have data for at least three outcomes in Home Health Compare.
