Attending a Ravens game at M&T Bank Stadium? Not only are we there to take care of the Ravens, we’re also there to take care of the entire Ravens Flock. With five first aid stations throughout the stadium, we’re there for you when and where you need us.
Purple Ticket to Health: Achieving a Healthier Lifestyle
We partner with the Baltimore Ravens and other organizations on Purple Ticket to Health focusing on diabetes awareness and prevention. Through this initiative, fans have access to free diabetes screenings and valuable health resources. The program encourages Ravens fans to take charge of their health while engaging with their favorite team.
Awards and recognition
Congratulations to our own Dr. Leigh Ann Curl, head orthopedic surgeon for the Ravens, for being awarded the prestigious Jerry “Hawk” Rhea Award. Dr. Curl was recognized as the 2024 Outstanding NFL Team Physician by the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society (PFATS) at the NFLPS symposium during the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis in the spring of 2025. The award is given annually to the NFL team physician who has made the greatest contributions to both the NFL and the profession of athletic training. Crucial Catch game day: honoring strength and survivorship
During the NFL’s Crucial Catch initiative, we team up with the Ravens to deliver meaningful experiences that honor cancer survivors, support patients during treatment, and celebrate the people behind their journeys.
At the Crucial Catch game on October 12, MedStar Health honored 50 cancer patients with a powerful on-field experience during the national anthem, followed by a special bell-ringing ceremony celebrating a survivor’s treatment milestone. Fans also joined a stadium-wide tribute recognizing 20 oncology nurses and raising “Today, I Honor” cards in support of loved ones impacted by cancer.
VIP Celebration at M&T Bank Stadium
In partnership with the Ravens, the American Cancer Society, and Susan G. Komen Foundation, we surprised 35 patients with a behind-the-scenes day of pampering. Guests received custom-fitted wigs, massages, bracelets, gift bags, and an unforgettable meet-and-greet with Ravens players—bringing moments of joy and connection during their cancer journeys.
Together, we’re helping build stronger, healthier communities by investing in the next generation—on and off the field.
As part of our partnership with the Baltimore Ravens, MedStar Health proudly supports Ravens RISE—the team’s youth and high school football outreach initiative. Our role includes providing medical expertise, health education, and safety resources to ensure young athletes, coaches, and families across the Baltimore area have the support they need to thrive.
A game-changing gift for our nursing workforce
