Jennifer Smith is the Vice President of Philanthropy at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. Since 2021, Jennifer has strived to build a culture of philanthropy and implement a grateful patient model through strong engagement with patients, physicians, hospital leadership, and associates.
Prior to her current role, Jennifer served as Vice President of Development for Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. Past experience includes work in development at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation, Stevenson University, the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and Loyola University Maryland.
A graduate of Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, Jennifer serves on the boards of the Olney Chamber of Commerce and Good Counsel High School where she works to strengthen local partnerships. She is a core graduate of Leadership Montgomery County (2022), a leadership premier graduate of Leadership Howard County (2020), and a proud Rotarian.
