Janice Oppenheim is the Administrative Director of Nursing and Clinical Services at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. In her role, Oppenheim provides leadership and support for the clinical departments that deliver high quality, outpatient oncology care. This also supports the hospitals efforts at maintaining ACOS Commission on Cancer Accreditation and NCI Accreditation for the Lombardi Cancer Center. Oppenheim’s career spans over 35 years. Almost 29 of those years have been served here at MedStar Georgetown. She has experience in multiple facets of oncology care and has held a Director position in the cancer center since early 2001. Oppenheim obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Hunter College, Bellevue School of Nursing in New York City. She holds a master’s degree in health care administration from University of Maryland University College. She holds a certificate of paralegal studies from Georgetown University. She has maintained her ONS Oncology Certification since 1989.
