Patricia “Patty” Hall, BSN, RN, DN/CM, is the Director of Nursing Resources for MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital. In this role, she has direct oversight of the clinical administrators, nursing float pool, staffing office, bed capacity management, and agency supplemental staffing.
Prior to her current position, Patty has served in several roles at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital as a transporter, Telemetry monitor technician, certified nursing assistant, Intensive Care Center as a staff nurse and charge nurse, Clinical Administrator, Infection Preventionist, and Assistant Director of Nursing Resources.
Patty earned her Associate of Science degree in nursing from the College of Southern Maryland and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Kaplan University. She is enrolled at Capella University working toward a Master of Science degree with a concentration in nursing leadership.
Patty is the chair of the MedStar St. Mary’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, co-chair of the MedStar St. Mary’s Patient and Family Education Committee, and the MedStar Corporate co-chair of the Patient and Family Education Committee.
She holds a membership with the American Nurses Association, American Organization for Nursing Leadership, and the Maryland Nurses Association at both state and local levels. Patty is also an active member of the Maryland Emergency Response Team.
