Allison (Allie) Keuthen was awarded the SPIRIT of Excellence Award for the third quarter of 2017 during a presentation at the University Town Center (UTC) office. Allie is the MedStar-Georgetown OnCore Coordinator who is focused on the smooth implementation of OnCore across the system for clinical research. Nominated by Mary Anne Hinkson, Vice President of Research Operations, the award was presented by Neil Weissman, MD, president of MedStar Health Research Institute.
“Allie is positive every single day,” said Mary Anne. “She maintains a positive outlook despite the daily churn, implementing methods to collect user feedback to ensure that the process is working smoothly and will be successful.”
Allie was recognized for her commitment to leading by example and ensuring that there is a clear foundation for appropriate workplace behavior through personal awareness and sensitivity to both MedStar and Georgetown issues regarding OnCore implementation. Her commitment to innovation has led to several helpful tip sheets and tools, which benefit both MedStar and Georgetown associates.
The SPIRIT Award is given to recognize and reward one associate (management or non-management) each quarter, who excels in Service, Patient First, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork. Nominations for the fourth quarter of 2017 are due by November 15. Learn more on the SPIRIT StarPort page or contact MHRI-HR@medstar.net.
