Telluride Patient Safety Roundtable Scholarships
These sessions allow medical students from across the country to experience a week discussing patient safety topics and hearing expert speakers.Students also spend considerable time discussing ways to overcome barriers for patient safety education to become part of every medical school’s curriculum. This scholarship is open to students in their first, second, and third years.
Pellegrini Scholars in Quality & Patient Safety
The Frank S. Pellegrini, M.D. Medical Student Research Scholarship Endowment enables Georgetown University medical students to perform research in quality and patient safety under the auspices of the MedStar Research Institute
Pines-Kleinman Mental & Behavioral Health Scholarship
The Pines-Kleinman Mental & Behavioral Health Scholarship is awarded to first-year Georgetown University medical students by the MedStar Health Research Institute to support the students’ interests in the field of mental health research.
The annual prize is awarded to someone who has demonstrated service excellence, “patient first” activities, innovation, inter-hospital collaboration, and/or leadership in the field of mental health research.
