Administrative fellowship with MedStar Ambulatory Services
This fellowship is a one-year position based within MedStar Health Ambulatory Services, the rapidly growing outpatient division of MedStar Health. The fellowship will include mentorship and support from the executive leadership team, which includes the President, Chief Operating Officer, and Assistant Vice President of Patient Experience.

How does the fellowship work?
The fellowship is self-directed, so fellows will be encouraged to apply their individual background and experience in the work environment in order to contribute to the system and gain an in-depth understanding of an integrated healthcare delivery system and distributed care delivery network. Past fellowship projects
MedStar Ambulatory Care Center (MACC) - Primary and Quality Dashboards Development
Developed a division-wide monthly primary and quality care dashboard to ensure all MACC sites with primary care services can meet pay-for-performance provider metrics
Interim Manager of Operations
Led a MACC site with day-to-day operations by overseeing 15 full time associates and serve as main point of contact to all internal and external business partnerships
Internal communications initiative
Co-developed a division-wide monthly newsletter to improve internal communication between MedStar Health associates across the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
Analytical support project
Provided analytics throughout MedStar Health Ambulatory Services by producing a weekly dashboard and ad-hoc analyses that include reporting on volume, patient safety, patient demographics, and referral trends.
Online check-in implementation
Served as Project Manager for online check-in initiative for all MedStar Health Urgent Care locations. Implemented ClockwiseMD solution that provided easy online scheduling and wait-time transparency for urgent care patients as well as intuitive reports such as door-to-door benchmarks for clinical staff, operations, and marketing.
Quarterly results review process
Co-developed a division-wide operational result review process that measures and tracks the longitudinal performance of all entities and sites within MedStar Health Ambulatory Services.
Facility activation playbook
Project managed the design and development of a facility readiness process and activation project plan for new multispecialty ambulatory care centers.
Customer service program
Co-led the initiation phase of a division-wide customer service program and advisory council for new and existing associates across the division.
Business development council
Assisted with the design of a business development process to approve and implement new programs and services.
