The MedStar Health Innovation Forum was a landmark annual event produced by the MedStar Institute for Innovation for a decade to ignite innovation energy across the health system. The forum convened hundreds of MedStar Health associates, provided a fresh perspective on innovation, and enabled participants to connect with each other and engage in the creative energy of our system. The goals of the MedStar Health Innovation Forum were to:
- Be provocative: Our speakers presented interesting, stimulating, and thoughtful ideas that related to innovation. The forum was not only about thinking differently, but also thinking about different things.
- Showcase MedStar Health: The forum featured the tremendous talent pool inside of MedStar Health and the creative minds dispersed throughout our health system.
- Catalyze change: The forum launched ongoing conversations about how to think about and deliver health care in new, different, and better ways.
View videos from past speakers below, which included MedStar Health colleagues, authors, a Nobel Prize winner, and much more.
Today, the MedStar Institute for Innovation remains committed to enhancing our internal innovation culture. We have since launched a variety of related offerings, including the MedStar Health Innovation custom channel on the system’s Elective Learning platform (featuring our past forum content and much more), as well as the internal email series Reframings…Notes from our Innovator-in-Residence.
