Yazan Alzedaneen, MD
I am originally from a small town in the south of Jordan and earned my medical degree from Hashemite University in Jordan. My passion for medicine led me to the United States, where I completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus in Baltimore. I am currently pursuing my endocrinology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital.
My clinical interests in endocrinology are broad, and I am particularly excited to continue developing expertise in this field. After completing my fellowship, I plan to practice endocrinology in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy watching soccer, especially supporting my favorite team, Barcelona. I also love cooking and trying out new recipes. But most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, and daughter.
Will Kuenstner, MD
Will Kuenstner is a second year fellow in the program. He is proud to call D.C. and Georgetown his adopted home since 2021, but he previously lived in New Jersey, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Prior to residency and fellowship at Georgetown, Will attended Wake Forest University for undergraduate studies and West Virginia University School of Medicine for medical school. He fortuitously discovered endocrinology in his intern year and never looked back – all things general endocrinology fascinate Will, and he enjoys sharing his passion for endocrinology with students and residents rotating on service. Outside of medicine, Will spends time catching up on sleep, traveling the globe, getting bullied by his cats, eating his way through Washington, D.C., and staying active.
Noor-ul-huda Mehdi, MD
A native of Northern Virginia, Noor-ul-huda Mehdi is a second-year endocrine fellow with a special interest in diabetes, obesity, gender affirming care, and analyzing health care disparities in endocrinology. She did her undergraduate studies at The College of William and Mary with a major in political science, and graduated from Ross School of Medicine followed by her internal medicine residency at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA. She then returned home first as a hospitalist at Washington Hospital Center, and then joined the endocrine fellowship at Georgetown University. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading (and finding the best bakeries and bookstores), watching soccer, running, going to concerts, and making friends with all the dogs she meets.
