Application and match information
The MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH) program participates in the National Residency Matching Program, and we are seeking to fill four positions in the match. All applications will be reviewed by our Residency Application Review Committee, and interviews will be offered to qualified candidates. We will hold in-person interviews for the 2024-2025 season.
Preference Signaling
The signaling program is voluntary. Both applicants and programs opt-in to Preference Signaling as part of the AAMC ERAS participation agreement, and MGUH has opted in for this program. A couple of reminders:
-
Each applicant will be allotted 30 signals
-
Applicants should signal their home programs as well as programs where they may have completed a sub-internship, if those programs are among their preferred programs.
-
Applicants with no geographic preference should indicate “no geographic preference” in lieu of leaving that field blank.
Residency application guidelines
Applications must be complete and submitted by October 11th.
Candidates must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The following documents are needed in order to have your application reviewed:
- ERAS common application form
-

Neither application review nor invitation for a formal interview will be made unless the application is complete.
