The Georgetown University Medical Center/MedStar NRH Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Training Program is a categorical program including PGY years one through four. Interviews are granted after review of appropriate application materials.
The applicant for residency training position must provide the following documents:
Medical Student Performance Evaluation (or Dean's Letter as applicable)
Three Letters of Recommendation from physicians practicing in the U.S. and Canada who have personally supervised the applicant in the performance of medical duties. If the candidate has previously been in a postgraduate training program, one letter must be from the candidate's former/current program director and two letters must be from supervisory attendings with whom the candidate has rotated within the preceding 12 months and/or most recent post graduate year. Additional letters may be requested.
Official Medical School Transcripts
Personal Statement
Curriculum Vitae (as provided in your ERAS application)
ECFMG Certificate (if applicable)
Copy of Medical School Diploma (if applicable)
USMLE Transcript or NBOME Transcript
As applicable, all documents noted above must be submitted with official certified translations in English.
Interviews will be virtual with no in-person second looks. The Georgetown University Medical Center/MedStar NRH Residency Training Program participates in the National Resident Matching Program and abides by its rules and regulations. It will accept NRMP match applications only through the ERAS system.
